July 30, 2026: Kanz and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development have been confirmed as joint holders of the Guinness World Records title for the most users in an artificial intelligence video lesson, with 14,075 users.
The record was achieved in Riyadh on July 15, 2026, during the opening session of the Kanz AI Training Hackathon. Guinness World Records adjudicator Raafat Tawfik confirmed the title live during the program’s closing ceremony on July 22.
The record lesson opened an eight-day, free online training program that attracted 51,693 registrants from 170 countries. A total of 24,816 people attended at least one verified live session, participating in practical training delivered in Arabic and English.
The program’s most significant result, however, was not attendance.
Participants submitted 4,450 AI projects, with 3,428 already published as working digital products, each hosted at its own web address and available for the public and potential employers to test at ka.nz/ai.
The projects were assessed by Kanz AI judging agents against a public evaluation rubric, with the top 20 projects presented during the closing ceremony.

“The record is good. The apps are better. Thousands of working products are live right now, built by people who entered the program with ideas and left with proof of what they can create.” – Roy Baladi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Kanz
The program was designed around a simple principle: artificial intelligence skills should be demonstrated through practical work, not measured only through attendance.
Participants learned to build applications, AI agents, automated workflows, research tools, voice and video products, and other digital solutions using no-code and natural-language tools. The program was open to participants without a technical background and was delivered at no cost.
Saudi Arabia recorded the largest national cohort, with more than 19,000 registrants, over 9,100 live learners, and more than 1,900 submitted projects.
The initiative supports the Kingdom’s wider investment in human capability, digital skills and workforce readiness under Vision 2030. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development jointly holds the Guinness World Records title and co-signs the program’s participant credentials.
“Keep learning, keep building, and keep creating solutions that make a positive impact on society and the economy. Congratulations again to all of you.” – Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, Deputy Minister for Skills and Training, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development
A total of 24,496 certificates were issued through the program. Of these, 21,191 participation certificates were issued to learners who attended at least one live session, while 3,305 completion certificates were awarded to participants who successfully published a project.
The credentials were co-signed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Academy of Continuing Education at the Lebanese American University (LAU).
In the closing survey, 96 percent of 5,310 respondents said they would recommend the program, while 92 percent reported greater confidence in using artificial intelligence. In a separate hiring poll, 1,437 of 2,079 respondents said they would recommend Kanz graduates to employers.
The program was delivered through a coalition of government, academic, community and technology partners across Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and the international technology ecosystem.
Partners included the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Lebanon’s Ministry of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence through its NUMŪ program, the Lebanese American University Academy of Continuing Education, Berytech, the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development, Forward MENA, Classera, C.XSEED Ventures and Voice of Lebanon 93.3 FM.
Technology used throughout the program included platforms and tools from Replit, Google, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Magnific, Suno, n8n and HUMAIN.
Guinness World Records adjudicator Raafat Tawfik said the submitted evidence had met the organization’s rules and guidelines before confirming the final record total.
“Kanz and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development have both achieved a new Guinness World Records title, the most users in an artificial intelligence video lesson, with a grand total of 14,075 users.” – Raafat Tawfik, Adjudicator, Guinness World Records
